ZhCDN-24-HAI Corpus

Mandarin Chinese 2 sub-corpora 29,916 audio files

A Mandarin Chinese speech corpus developed in Xiaoming Jiang's lab at Shanghai International Studies University during my MA studies (2021–2024). It comprises two sub-corpora: (1) a 24-speaker corpus featuring 189 sentences across three epistemic prosodies (confident, doubtful, and neutral) with AI-cloned versions, totalling 27,216 audio files; and (2) a 10-speaker corpus of 2,700 audio clips produced by human speakers and two sets of AI-cloned voices trained on different sentence materials (Geography and Trivia).

I am happy to see this corpus continuing to contribute to new knowledge. Some of its uses:
